Children’s Burn Foundation will present the Giving New Hope Award to Dr. Peter H. Grossman, MD, FACS, a community leader, brilliant Board-certified plastic surgeon, and longtime Children’s Burn Foundation medical partner.
Dr. Grossman divides his professional practice between cosmetic and burn and reconstructive surgery and has treated patients from more than 35 countries. A Northwestern University and Chicago Medical School graduate, Dr. Grossman is currently Medical Director of the Grossman Burn Centers at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, and Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He has authored many articles in publications and peer review journals and from 2013-2018, he was President of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Grossman’s numerous accolades include a listing among America’s top surgeons by the Consumer Research Council of America and appointment as an expert reviewer by the Medical Board of California since 2001, He is also a member of the U.S.-Afghan Women’s Health Advisory Council, received the 2018 Justice Armand Arabian award for service to his community, and is named among the 200 most influential people in the San Fernando Valley by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. It is our pleasure to pay tribute to Dr. Grossman for his nationwide reputation for quality patient care and his meticulous, heart-felt caring approach to healing child burn survivors from around the world.
